Elena Hackney has twenty plus years of experience in Learning and Development with a specific focus on leadership and management development. Her overall philosophy is that training should be engaging for the learner – participants are one of the most important elements to consider when planning a class, a retreat, an online training course, an organizational change message, a team builder, etc..
Elena has used this philosophy during her training roles as an internal consultant or training manager in banking, education, healthcare, government, and call center environments. She thoroughly enjoys sharing her passion for adult learning, creating engaging training, designing meaningful curriculum, and mentoring new trainers.
As a lifelong learner, Elena holds a master’s degree in English/Education and a second master’s degree in Training and Development. Elena is also a certified Myers-Briggs facilitator and holds a Six Sigma Green Belt designation in healthcare.
